A solar lentigo, also known as an age spot, a sun spot or a liver spot, is a harmless flat brown patch of skin appearing on sun-exposed sites of the body, particularly the face and hands. Multiple spots are called solar lentigines.
Treatment options include cryotherapy, topical retinoids, chemical peels, intense pulsed light and laser treatment.
